Instead, we got "Shared Saves".
That also went down the drain. They really struggle with the multiplayer thing.
It's a good game, but the devs don't know how to code a stable multiplayer.
In the beginning it was "It's EA! They'll fix it!" but yeah, they never did...
I can say we played allrealy over 100 hours without big problems. I tryed to identify some problems of other members but didnt found sure solutions because of the complexity of using two programms to start and to share the game... this is in my eyes the biggest errorsource.
But what i can say for sure, the game IS playable without problems, so there must be some problems with the individual config of the PCs. Adminrights, security software, not opened ports and so on....
Same as above, wife and I play, would love it so we can play locally, but microsoft seems to have a thing where it has to go through servers these days. Only problem we've had recently was when the missus was on mobile internet, but grounded wasn't the only game suffering then.
Thank you, I will look into this. I've never had to configure any other multiplayer before, so it's just flat out annoying.
Sometimes game state doesn't sync immediately, so a player might look like he's falling when he's actually running around normally, but we've not experienced disconnects or anything like that.
It is a really fun single player game too, but the multiplayer aspect is frustrating as heck. Who knows, maybe you will have a better experience than I have.
