Grounded could not be linked to a Microsoft account at this time

I've been playing on a shared world with a couple of friends for quite some time. Never had an issue, we both linked our microsoft accounts and been playing since then.
Yesterday, we tried to log in and while she made it, my shared worlds option was turned off. I found that to be a little off but tried to reconnect it again.
A message popped up:
"Grounded could not be linked to a Microsoft account at this time"
So for whatever reason the game cannot connect to my Microsoft account and I can't play with my friends anymore.
I've tried uninstalling the game TWICE and even unlinked and relinked my microsoft account with steam, all of that to no avail. I think maybe the St. Valentines update broke my game and I don't know how to fix it. This has never happened to me before.

I have the same issue here. Really annoying. And sometimes it is ok. I gust this is some server side problem.

Steam is doing server maintenance every tuesday for about an hour.
It disrupts Grounded play sessions, although I don't know why that is the case, since shared worlds saves are persisted in Xbox Live cloud. :\
