Black Ox Horn Drop Rate?
I'm sorry but am I missing something? I think I've killed around 6 ox beetles now and I've only ever gotten 1 horn. What's with the drop rate on this thing?

It's bit rare. I strongly suggest to make the stuffed black ox for the extra drop chance buff.
Also recommend (if I remember the names correctly) rascal rogue and dissection expert mutations.

also if you have lots of spare raw science you can dupe them at the super duper, not sure how much they are to dupe each one, you could also use the waft emitter to fight them in multiple batches if you feel brave enough

there are black ox beetle spawn locations too get familiar with where they are. i have a base up by the castle and there are at least 3-4 spawn locations close by each other

Near the juice box in the upper yard, and just past the gap near the brick wall are two blox spawn points, both with easily cheesed beetles. They can't fit under the straw of the juice box, nor through the gap near the brick wall.

To the right of Castle Moldorc, in the rock pile, are a captive pair of blox as well that also respawn regularly, as well as one near the field station nearby. Prime blox hunting ground. The trapped pair are also cheeseable, as they don't fit in the gap between the stones on the right, opposite the stick you climb to get out.

Blox are pretty easy to fight, but they hit hard, so don't get hit. They can be a challenged for ranged combat, as they dig up and hurl rocks with tremendous force, but they do telegraph their attacks pretty well, so pay attention to how they move.
