What does the "Hauling Hero" mutation actually do?

I'm unsure of what Hauling Hero actually does, I've tried picking up things that stack like pebblets and they stack to 15 with the first upgrade of stacking capacity. I've picked up the same 30 pebblets multiple times with different setups, unequipped Red Ant Armor with the mutation, equipped armor without the mutation, neither active, both active, and I don't see any differences at all.

Increases the number of grass planks/stems you can carry. Try it with Red Ant Armor and see just how much you can carry at once.
