cant launch multiplayer

i am getting *Failed to join queue 4321* or something similar when i try to host and also try to join a friend.. .this is a brand new issue

Such a shame that this game's multiplayer is terrible. Almost every time I look, there's a new thread about it on the main page.

and with no official response about it? shows they dont give a ♥♥♥♥....

and i wish we could refund and that steam would extend the refund period to *if a developer gives up... or ever abandons a game*


Yes... it will screw them over and make them bankrupt if that happened (individual developers/publishers) BUT THEY WOULD ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LEARN... NO???

I have been playing co op with my bf for years on this game. Recently, this past year, the player NOT hosting is occasionally dropped many times during play, unfortunatley i just have to put up with it and rejoin each time. When i get an error on rejoining, i just back out to the main menu and join again, usually that works. When it fails to work after that, i have to shut down the game entirely and rejoin. It sucks but it's something we have to deal with if we want to play together.

yea when my buddy hosts he has no issue and i will join and then disconnect. when i host he will join and then disconnect. we've been playing for years but its gotten so bad.

Multiplayer does work, i play everyday with the bf. Make sure if there is a password that your caps lock isn't on. Try turning crossplay on for both players.

ok so that doesn't actually work.... finally i found out the issue a few weeks ago updated my own discussion on this issue last week, so will do so here

some people who have the 24h2 update for windows 11.. .its broke CFOS.. .CFOS (if you have this windows update) is the one which has broken things... uninstall it - its only a network traffic booster which you don't need if unless you are on dial up ;)

i removed it and it fixed the game, amongst other things
