Co op - how many players????

Im looking to buy this game for co-op to play with someone. I know co-op says four players. Is four players necessary or is it just up to four? As it would just be me and one other playing.. Thank you!

We can talk then, I'm quite new to the game got just under 6 hours and still learning.
You don't NEED up to 4 players, each player would be added till max of 4. So I believe.

PS I don't have mic.

PSS The game is good, I'm sure with others even better! It's worth it if you like wholesome games like Life is Strange and other Slice of Life games.

its 1 - 4. Progress is saved to the game world, u can also allow access to the save for your friend / friends. So any of you can access it, even when the original host is offline - useful for if one of u wants to farm a few materials when the other isn't online.

Each player has a unique inventory too - so even if you decide to swap characters, you will keep your items. Its a pretty good system tbh.

Only thing to note is, you will need an xbox account to play multiplayer

Thanks for the info. Good to know that others can access your "world" while a player is offline. Also that inventory is persistant.

I don't think my xbox account is syncing up properly. It just doesn't fully log in. Don't know whether it's just mine or whether the xbox account sync is buggy. oh well.

it is a little fidgety sometimes. Especially if you are using a controller on the main menu. But once it logs in, it will automatically log u in each time.

If it says log out in the bottom right u will know its logged u in.

I have a weird one where my friend can join on me if i host. But if she hosts i cant see her game, she has to invite me. Only really a minor inconvenience though

u can add, but i usually play with my friend. She only plays with people she knows. So im not sure how often ill be available

It's up to four, really you can solo the game if you wanted (which is what I'm doing). lol
