Reload save on Waft Emitter for Gold Card ?

I'm farming Termite King + Infected Wolf spider gold card with the waft emitter, but i'm lacking materials to do it many times. Should I reload my old save and use the same materials over and over again, or is it impossible to get a gold card if I do that ?

It'd be more efficient to raise your NG+ level if you want to farm gold cards since it increases the drop rate (and spares you having to fight the other riff raff in hopes that they show up in the wave)

I know but I'm kinda scared of NG+ and wanted to clear 100% of the game before going to try it, I'm not sure I'll play the endgame for a long time so I better complete it all now (I know I don't need all gold card for 100% in the completion thing)

So, it didn't answer the question tho, does it work or not ?

It is the worst Way and doesn´t rlly work well. I tested it for Hours.

A better Way is to get the Stuffed Bugtype you need the Goldcard from and using the Lucky Hat from the Event. If you have opened the Browny Bin DE Mutation works Wonders in Combination. All together will give you 30% Lootluck and believe me, your Chests will be flodded with Parts. So you will get more out of the Waves than you have invested. You will get TONS so be prepared.

There is a strange behaviour while doing the Waves. Sometimes i got lucky and got 2 Goldcards from the mixed Wave of Black Widows, who spawn the Widowlings. But sometimes i din´d get Cards for Hours. What helped a bit was, restarting the Game and start the Emitter Raids all over again. Right after doing that, i got the next GC within 1 or 2 Raids.

Let me give you a last TIP. WAIT with NG+ It is the most frustating Update i have ever played in a Game so far.

Do as many Raids with the Emitter as you can, to get as much Raw Sience as possible.
A full Black Widow Raids gives 17k Raw Sience. So you will be able to dupe a lot of things you WILL need.

If you rush into NG+ you will learn what Grinding by dying really is. NG+ is absolutely dissaponting and insane boring, if you farm everything by killing one Mob after another. NG + brings nearly nothing New...yeah a couple of new Weapons but they just recycled the old ones and gave them Candyeffects. But, if you have the Time for the Grind, the Game will get easyier if you are lucky and find right from the Beginning a rlly good Science Cone. My first Cone i found had Saltdamage Minor/best + Weakness Salt on it. What made killing the Black Ox Beetles a Walk in the Park. 1 or 2 Arrow and sometimes i oneshotted them. BTW Black Ox B. are 1 of 2 Bugs what can drop Cones in NG+1. There is no other Source to get them. The other one is the Infected Broodmother....oh you will have sooo much fun if you are insane enough to farm her in NG+1 ^^

Oh and don´t think about farming Cones with the Emitter. It does not work. I had in 20 Raids not a single Cone. But infused Ooze. Sometimes there will be one or two infused Bugs.

Let me give y ou a last Advise. If you have enjoyed the Game in Normal Mode, than don´t go to NG+ without making a Backup of your Normal Game Save. NG+ has no Story...only farming. The Gameplay you will experience is:
-Find random located Molars to raise your stats...AGAIN
-Grind the hell out of the Game to get the right Cones for your Build, same counts for the damn Ooze.
-Get all the Chips...AGAIn
-Do the Javamatic...AGAIN

This stupid Process repeats 10 Times and you are in NG+10

Sry if i´m sounding dsissapointed but this is what NG+ is. A stupid waste of Time like it was and is in the senseless Chinafarm Games.

I'm not sure what you meant when you said "It is the worst Way and doesn´t rlly work well.", because I said I wanted to reload save and you don't agree to that, but later you tell me I should reload save sometimes.

Reloading isn't good because I can get materials back in the waves anyway, indeed, but not in all cases. 13 Wolf Spider fangs are required for 1 infected wolf spider and 0 normal wolf spider, which gives me back 1 or 2 fangs (I use the hat and the mutation), so I am FAR from being able to do it without reloading the save ...

I´m sorry for my bad English. I don´t know English that well like it was 20 Years ago ;)

To be more clear. I mean completely restarting the Game and not only just reloading the last Save.

Raids are easy...just use the cheesy way.
The best Place to do that is in Front of the Javamatic. The 3 pink Modules will completely Distract the Widows, and nothing you have build will be destroyed. Build Just above of the Modules a Plattform out of Pebletfoundations. Place the Emitter on them and use the new Ant Queen Staff to take them out. If you have the Blaster of the moldy Matriach than use that Thing. It is just Perfect to kill multiple Widows at the same Time.
I killed by this Method over 250 Widows....well you have to use every Trick in the Book.
But there is a Downside to this. The Devs did a bad and poor Job with the Pathing. I don´t know what they did to it, but many Times the Insects get stuck on Obstacles. It made me crazy! There are some places, open and wide, but even there they get stuck on the smallest Rocks or something else. Don´t build on the Ground! This will attract them and after they destroyed any kind of what you have build, the Raid will end and you will loose a lot of Materials.

When it comes to the Infected Wolf Spiders....i just wanted the Trapper Mutation, so i stopped farming them bcs i got a GC from another Type of Bug what i was missing for Trapper Stage 3. As far as i know, the Chances for Goldcards raises with every NG+. The Wiki says at NG+5 it is almost 100% Dropchance for Goldcrads. I can´t confirm that, bcs i´m still in NG+1. I lost my Motivation and i´m hasetatiing to get into NG+2. I know it will be easier with the right Cones and upped Equip, but still. Just thinking about the Fact that i will like start all over again took it out of me. Its sooo boring, doing all the same Stuff again.

Sad but it is true what i said about NG+. They had better made a complete new Area like the Garden of a Neighbour, instead of this stupid and senseless NG+. After hittting NG+10 i will definetly deinstall the Game and i swear, i will never buy from Obsidian a Game again. This is so cheap what they have added! It is not Fun, it is a freakin 2nd Dayjob!

And when it comes to the Molars, God i hate to tell you that, but they are completely random placed. You have no Idea how bad this can be. Sometime you will find 2 on the some Spot, and sometimes they are somewhere where you would never expect them.
But this is not the only Issue i have with the Molars. Every NG+ you have to find AGAIN 66 Milkmolars to maxout your Stats. And believe me, you WILL need them. Otherwise it will be nearly impossible to kill even a Mite bcs the will onehit you if you are not good in perfect Blocking. A Tip: Don´t raise the Hunger and Wtaerdrain Stat, that will spare you a lot of Time. It is absolutely useless bcs. Hunger and Thirst wont be a Problem. I hope you know a little Trick. Everey Mob what can drop Meat, like Aphids or Weevils, will drop cooked Meat if you kill them with any Kind of Spicy Damage. So Food is nothing to worry about and Water is everywhere.

Don't be afraid of NG+, that other guy is leaning too heavily on the min/maxing you'll be able to do to scare you off. You get a lot of new stuff to play with to keep you interested (including a few new enemies) as well as some other little world adjustments and quality of life boosts. And don't wait too long either, if you're going to really push your limits, higher NG+ is getting harder next patch (though rewards will be a bit more plentiful)

I have a last Tip for you. If any other Bug gets into your Raid, it will cause an Interrupt and you will not gain Science as a Reward. Well...it is an Exploit too. Bcs if your Raid gets interrupted, all the Items you put in the Emitter will be still there....*cough*
