How the @#% do you get out of the Undershed sinkhole?

So, I'm down there...and those mutant water fleas are no joke. Regardless, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get back out.
Unless the only way is through that spooky spider hole....I really wanted to return to base for the night without continuing into unexplored territory (my inventory is full and it's almost dark out).

Through the tunnel below with the widow. You can out run it if you time it right or just kill it.

oh heck ya another chance to help ya. There is like dead roots and branches near the far side of the black widow hole that you use to climb back up, this is also where alot of pupa is.

Okay, I farmed up the pupas ( I go SO MUCH), that's what finished filling my inventory...like 4 slots worth.
But I can't seem to find a path using the roots to get all the way out.

I'm going to give the root option one more try, but if that fails, I'm going to try this. I don't want to fight it....cause I wouldn't be able to loot it. haha

There is also a way to clime back up but its tricky and a bit hard to explain being you have to jump on those little tree parts and use some of the little mud globs on the wall.

ya its hard to explain have to do some pro parkouring but there is a way back up, I spend way too much time in that hole.... maybe ill make a video of getting out...

I got it! There was one jump I didn't recognize in my earlier tries that got me onto some higher roots than I had gotten to before and that one jump was enough to take me up and out.

That was intense, desperate to get out, pounded on by mutant water fleas, and the sun quickly setting. I really didn't want to have to run to my zip tower in the dark. It's probably weird, but early game gave me a great fear of being "out in the yard" after dark. haha

This particular area, which I've only just got through myself this evening, prompted my earlier post about how obnoxious the platforming in this game is.

You have to bunny hop up the branches. In the dark. While being attacked by mosquitos.

Yeah, "fun"...

@Hoodzy, I can't watch the first video, it says "Still processing", but for that second one, there's a way out at the other end of Spider Canyon as well, just a branch going up, no real hopping required. It's over where the Mint is.

Edit: Okay, i was able to watch the first video, and I feel like a knucklehead because your way out is WAY easier than the way I ended up taking....like, 8 jumps less. I went up over where the white pipe is.

ya but the twig up is past a bunch of orb weavers and for me atleast a wolf spider. I am a big coward and not a terrible climber. :)

Fair point. I almost asked why you'd be down there in the first place if not going for the Mint, but then I realized...it's a continuation of the way out of the sinkhole.

If you haven't already also the pipe that drops down into the undershed sinkhole imo is the best place to get the scarab twinkling shells, so I go there a lot and just jump down to farm pupa. There are also places down below that the stupid spiny fleas get stuck and you can use land weapons on them instead of garbage knife or spear underwater. It is a nice meat farm too.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get into that pipe. I haven't been past the pipe though, on the top side.
