Some Idea for "fast/quick" Travel.
As we know this game is best played whit more friends :)

But for single player is Nightmare :( (is is not like you can't but even medium will be chalenging)

So Idea for Qucik/Fast Travel:

You set up starting and end point - lets Call it "Ant stagecoach" - you pay cookies for trasnport.

also you need to "tamed" ant.

You can build zip lines for fast travel. My main base is connected to every part of the yard that I have been to with zip lines.

I wouldn't mind a tamed Ladybug though with a Howdah you can put on their back. :)

Problem whit ZipLine half way of map trip is 20 spider web/line .... ONE Way ;/ so a lot hunting

I don't really think that's all that much of a problem @Al_Tazir.

I have an entire chest full of spider silk rope and have never gone 'spider hunting' since the very early game when I went back to the hedge lab to break more of the egg sacs for those easy early game parts a few times. I just got all the silk from all the spiders and spiderlings I run into, literally everywhere, from the start of the game all the way to the end.
As of the woodpile, I started trashing spider silk when I got it, because I simply do not need more, despite having an extensive zip line network criss-crossing the yard.

The issue I find with zipline towers is that I spend more time building them then I will spend in the actual biome doing real content. I feel like I would actually save time if I just wore some speedy shoes and just cleared the area and never returned. I heard they may add an item to go up ziplines. If/when they do that I think that will be a game changer for not having goofy 20 story towers all over.

The zip towers go up fast if you just make the basic "bounce tower" that involves a single tall brick wall with bounce webs every 3rd floor, snapped to triangle grass floors. Like shown in this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5NwFKiuceg&list=PLeNR3VgqDEIc9qpKRWrwWo44_Z1tIqZk7

I just built another zip line tower using that method today, over near the undershed entrance, and it took me maybe 20 minutes.

The item for going "up" zip lines is actually already in the game. It's a trinket. You cannot actually get it (without using the cheat console) but it is in the game. I suspect it's for the testing team/developers so any speculation of us ever given it is probably just speculation.

The ziplines are nice, but they only go one way. It would be nice if at least there were a trinket you could equip (or something) to be able to go up them as well.

I can get over 20 just by going on a hunting expedition around the wooden blocks West of the oak tree. The Orb Weavers seem to respawn frequently too.
