Ant Queen?

Why is there no Ant queens at all in the game? Ant's normally can't function as a colony without a queen. Termite king is a thing but no queens? Why do you think they were not added to the game?

Lmao when I typed termite king I was thinking the same thing! It is just so weird to watch the ants bring food to a pit and not a central fatty queen popping out babies.

Termite colonies actually do have kings irl.

LOL, dude, it was just the top result in a google search. There are dozens more and the wikipedia page for termites also talks about them. They ARE a real thing.

I'm expecting that, since the ants seem to be moving from base to base, there is going to be a larger still nest of them with a queen somewhere at the bottom. Remember the first one was 'abandoned' and the second one seemed to have gotten at least partially flooded. Might be why there's no queen there.

I hope not. I’d rather they add a color queen to every official ant hill in the rooms they are bringing all the food to. A fight sort of like the termite king but weaker than him.
