Can Bees be tamed and/or ridden?

I remember a while back seeing one of the updates came out and I thought I remembered the title picture on it showing someone riding a bee. Is that even a thing? I think it would be amazing if you could tame a bee like a mount and fly it around the garden. Is that just wishful thinking or did the developers put something like that in the game?

I rode one for about a second before falling. Mid fight, one went under me while I jumped and took me higher into the air.
The fear and wonder was astonishing. Good thing I had a glider.

Glider?? I've explored almost the whole garden and I haven't found a blueprint for a glider. Where did you get that? Or are you kidding?

I would also very much like to have bee friends. Looks like modding isn't a possibility for this game, or at least no one has tried here or on Nexus

He means the dandelion tuft. I always call it my parachute.
