Burg.L bugged?

So, uhm... i decided to give this game another try during this current free weekend, and so far i've almost played for 6 hours and i really like it. I'm stuck at one quest now, though... the one where you gotta talk to Burg.L and get all the chips for him.

The issue is though that it doesn't move on, the quest just says i gotta talk to Burg.L which i've already done a couple times. I also haven't gotten anything on my map that shows the locations of the chips. I might just be dumb though and have most likely missed something, i just have no idea what. Any help would be appreciated, because i'm clueless.

I don't actually remember, but i think so. I gave up and just ''rage quit'', i'll click on every single conversation question once i'm playing again though and see if that does anything.

Did you pick up the Burg.L chip on the ground next to him? Some people do get bugged with it saying you have to speak to him when you don't. You can just ignore that and it will go away eventually. Maybe relogging will get it to go faster. For progress you need to keep asking him for work. You will get chipsleuth quests that will give you the locations of new Burg.L chips on the map.

Yup, i picked up and even gave him that chip on the ground next to him. But alright, thanks for letting me know! I had no idea i had to keep asking him for work. I noticed a random exclamation mark on my map though, that literally just said ''none''. lol idk what that's about.

He wants you to bring him more chips but he also wants you do "Jobs" for him. Please ignore this if you already went down this conversation road. I didnt take any jobs in the beginning and there is still a quest marker at the oak tree. Burg.L has three jobs waiting for me to undertake.

Hmmm, alright. There's no quest marker for me anywhere, anymore. I do have some random exclamation mark though, that simply says ''none''. I know i'm supposed to bring him more chips, but like... that quest hasn't started for me.

Yes the random exclamation is the bug, it just takes you back to Burg.L it will go away after some time/quest completion. Just complete/reject jobs from him until you get a chipsleuth quest and then you will start progressing like you desire.

So, uhm... yeah, i was also the one being dumb and blind. I didn't see the ''Do you have any work for me'' option thingy when talking to Burg.L. I just noticed it right now. lol Oops. It still seemed to be a little bugged though since i also had all of the chips locations even though i didn't have that chipsleuth quest.
