how to survive sizzling?

how? is there a potion or anything we can craft to survive the sizzling?

antlion armor, there's also the fresh mutation and if I remember correctly mint shard can be eaten to reduce the sizzle.

Full set of ant-lion armour reduces sizzling it still will cook you but it takes way longer.

You're going to need that full set of antlion armour if you want to work in the spilled BBQ biome. It ramps up stupid fast even with the full power fresh defence.
Fortunately, it turns out that they are very vulnerable to knives. I took a T5 swimming dagger (the second one, not the pebblet one) and was able to happily stunlock any to death after avoiding the initial attack.

basically the level 3 fresh defence isnt enough to get charcoal chunk right? so the game locks you from building the oven to go past level 5 strength of weapon as you cant get the required stuff to make it without the antlion armour on, so your kinda forced to try and kill antlions with level 5 weapons

Big Many Words Said, use small bonk on brown pinch to make big bonk stronk.

But yes basically i have lvl 5 crossbow, bee spear, T2 axe, and most of my ladybug armor lvl 5, could technically get armors to lvl 9 if you go that route but yea, have to farm antlions to even use oven, to ever go above lvl 5 weps, sucks but it's what they decided.

You can fight them at night(no sizzle) and they are super easy to kill with ranged. Just take a crow bow and around 60 arrows. If you can make salt arrows take those. Or you can tank the ones in the holes with a shield and a sword/dagger and spam smoothies if they get a hit off.
