Can I get 100% completion after infecting ant queens?

Me and my friends have been working on completing the game for months, after the new update we infected the ant queens, not realizing that there were baby ant cards. Are we softlocked from being able to get 100%?

Yes. After feeding the Ant Queens "infected" food and entering the REMIX.R, you will enter the "infected" world. Then you can feed the ant queens again. This time please with “normal” food. By the way, according to Obsidian Support, you no longer need all cards to be gold to achieve 100%.

So the cycle works that the first interaction you infect them and they die. Next playthrough they are back but infected. The playthrough after that (so NG +2) they are no longer infected and may be fed normal food to get baby ants.
