Multiplayer is a Mess

MP is an exercise in frustration.
-Friends randomly not appearing as online when trying to join a game.
-Saved shared worlds not loading as shared worlds.
-Players occasionally loading in at the case with empty inventories.

Please sort this out. My friends and Fam are seriously fed up.

Obsidian get your f%#^&%$ as in gear, WTH. an update a YEAR ago has prevented me and my boyfriend from resuming play in our shared world. we both still have copies but can only play single player, because new-game or not, we get this error on loop. FOREVER..

no selections change anything. no options change anything, nothing we do gets us a lobby hosted properly.

Damnit Obsidian we are on a LAN now and not even that works to get the lobby up!

you know what. i want a refund. and compensation for the time we put into the game making our world together that you took away from us with your 'updates' .. even new-game hosting won't start a lobby! COME THE F#@$% ON!

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. DEV's RUINED MULTIPLAYER THEN WALKED OUT!
In fact don't buy ANY Obsidian Entertainment software till they fix this crapoop!

I've been waiting YEARS for multiplayer to work again.. NOPE!

reddit has T H O U S A N D S of threads about this problem, over MULTIPLE years! and they the devs WILL NOT do anything about it. They don't care. They made their money and F'ed-off. Router port forwarding doesn't help windows firewall doesn't help, reinstalling the game, starting new maps, logging out and back in from Xbox account Does Not Help. this game has become Trash because of this. and the Devs are laughing at us for wishing it was different.

PS: Obsidian Entertainment uses a Chat-checking AI for this game, if it 'thinks' you are using a bad word or a word in bad Context. your ACCOUNT will get suspended from logging in! i want you to think about this, because some "Bad Words" include "Feed" and "Close" "Alt" and "Boo", "Them" and "Also" HOW ARE THESE BAD WORDS!? say these enough times in the games textual chat, and some weird AI driven grammatical context checker will BAN your ACCOUNT, so you cant even log in to play the game! You have to go talk to support and wait 4 days for back-and-forth to have a human UNBAN you !!!!!!!! OMFG! Why Why do you hate your players so much! WHY? DO NOT USE IN GAME TEXT CHAT!! Don't do it... Don't! you've been warned. F-Obsidian Entertainment. "Obsidian: Oh but microsoft made us use their s---" Shut up.
