How big is the game?

It has changed a LOT since then. Full story, new enemies, ton of places to explore in lower and upper yard, more bosses to fight, and just a few days back a new game plus mode added which includes even more unlockable stuff only available in new game plus runs..

It's huge, 100% first game is around 80 hours of play. Not even counting massive building sessions.

I have 130 hours and I'm right at the end of the story, although I have played a couple side games with other friends and messed around building a massive tower into the sky.

Sounds like you could probably rush through it in 50 hours though. If you like to do things just to do them then your play time will be longer.
