So Ant Queen scepter is Trash
what is the point in this weapon, it does zero damage, takes forever to kill a weevil
the weapon says summons a horde to your side, but this weapon does nothing

The Bonus perk you get for lvl 5 is Bonus attack speed, and its still slow as hell, and does zero damage,

The Bonus perk should be chance to summon a ant to fight for you or somthing, why is the weapon such dog trash

takes like 8 hits to kiill a mite and thats the tier 0 red mite first bug you fight

It’s pretty bad, but for new players it will be accessible fairly early on so it shouldn’t be high-powered. It seems to give you a minute amount of HP with each hit, but they should take the word ‘summon’ out of the description. I was definitely expecting an ant army to turn up!

At least they kept up with tradition. I was hoping this patch would've had a massive overhaul of the gear making more of it useful. Instead there's just a bunch more that won't ever be used.

I have figured how the ant queen scepter works. you need to have a mutation equipped that lets you summon something. the easiest one is mayby to kill the broodmother and gain the ability to summon spiderlings.

scepter is a summoning build weapon, works well with multiple summons, like ant armor + spiderlings + mant + wasp, with summoning boost trinket

i mean sure if you dont wanna deal any damage and just summon stuff use the ant specpter, but the Spider Fang is by far way faster cost less sta to use and summons way more mobs then you can with the Ant Scepter,

SpiderFang also kills way faster and summons faster, so idk how this is a summon weapon when spiderfangs does the job better

the scepters purpose i believe is to buff the summons, which is fine, i think the main issue isnt so much the scepters damage output itself, as much as summons despawn to fast, or die in one hit.

They should probably just increase health to summons, give them DR, and then let the scepter increase their damage and duration when bugs are summoned with it equipped.

Alternatively the scepter could perhaps gain stacking damage increase on itself per summon, but that could be to much rng going from obscene damage, to basically nothing.

honestly, it sounds like it would just be better as a staff, just having it summon temporary ants continually that don't do a load of damage, but can pull attention and swarm...why would i want to be a summoner that stands right next to the enemy?
the point is to let your mobs do the damage for you.

kinda seems like a missed opportunity.
