After the 1.4 Update, the Egg Chamber should be located fairly near their Queen.
Also, if the Black (or "any" color) Ant Population has reached "maximum" (including the ants near the shed porch for Black Ants), their Eggs will NOT spawn any more.
This is important, because most people don't re-visit those Black Ant areas frequently after they have completed the story elements in/near that Ant Hill. This allows the ants to freely increase their population back to "maximum" fairly quickly.
So, go on a rampage (especially near the shed, as ants accumulate there) and commit a few (or many :P) atrocities on the Black Ant Population, SLEEP (important!), then revisit their Ant Hill. If your genocide was successful, you should begin to see their eggs again (in 1-3 days).
Note: The larger the atrocities, the more eggs are generated to replenish their population. So, Kill a Bunch = Moar Eggs for you.
Didn't realize that, thank you. As for everyone else, I know you're trying to be helpful but the eggs literally weren't spawning in their normal locations no matter what. I committed antocide, checked everywhere that they are supposed to spawn normally, and yet none were spawning. This is a bug that happened before that I never had an issue with after being patched in an earlier update until this new update released.
I just "accidentally" pickup up 8 Black Ant Eggs in the Queen's Chamber.
They were delicious BTW.
There were no eggs in there for me, just the piles that you can collect stuff from if you befriend her.
