Achievement "Go Big Again" ??
Hallo zusammen.
Grounded Update. Wie erhält man das letze Achievement?

Hello. I play Grounded version 1.4.0.4495 Rel on the PC via Steam (MILD Level) and have 44/45 achievements. I am connected to the MS-XBOX account.
The last achievement I'm missing is "Go Big Again". I guess you get this by playing through the game twice and growing up again.
But how? In an earlier version, I think I last tested it with V 1.2, you could continue with the game after growing up.
So after the credits the game just continued and you could hear some nice music in the background. But not anymore.
After the credits you end up in the games menu and can load the last saved game again. Then unfortunately you have to activate the lasers the whole time, which is very annoying.
Is this intentional or a bug? Should you now go to REMIX.R and activate it? Then complete all BURG.L quests again and grow up again? This is very confusing, the new
Grounded update. How do I get the last achievement?

Well, per the global stats, no one seems to have completed this achievement yet...

I would imagine you would have to:
* Activate the ReMix.R (to enter NG+), and then
* Complete that NG+ game and "Grow Big Again" at the end of your NG+ play-through.

It's gonna be REALLY annoying if it takes two play-throughs to get this achievement:
* Save One: Grow Big
* Save Two: Grow Big Again (since you can't activate NG+ if you Grow Big in Save One).

This may explain why no one has achieved this milestone; that's a bunch of work/time.

Perhaps this could be the solution. I asked Obsidian Support. Let's wait and see what they say about it.

Thats it, you need to use the remix.r and then finisht the game again. Its fairly simple since you keep all your builds, if you had a solid normal game build and zipline system, you just blow through the game. I got it yesterday :)

TYVM for the information.

Answer from Support:

Thanks for reaching out Obsidian support, I totally get that new updates can sometimes be a bit tricky to navigate, but don’t worry, I’m here to help you out!

With our recent ‘Fully Yoked’ update, we’ve introduced a cool feature called ‘New Game+’ mode. This is specially designed for players like you who have already beaten the game and are looking for more challenges in the backyard. The last achievement you mentioned is actually linked to this new mode. To unlock it, you’ll need to beat the game again, but this time in the ‘New Game+’ mode.

You can find more details on how to access the ‘New Game+’ mode in the Grounded Wiki. And for a comprehensive list of achievements and how to earn them, you can check out this link on TrueAchievements.

So admitting you went for 100% in normal game, this would be your timeline on NG+1:

-Hedge is kinda long, but if you set up a zipline to farm the broodmother (which you kinda have to, to the bird bath then to frisbee) in normal, than just go there and get all the password pieces real fast, id say in 30 min tops its done

-Pond lab, you probably already have a bubble helmet and flip flops, just cruise through after the Trex and its just beating robots for the ending, easy enough

-Haze lab is litteraly a fight with a beefed up infected ladybug, in NG+1 the throw meta still applies and you clear that in 5 min. I like to plug the haze straight away to remove the requirement for gas mask, to each their own

-Black ant lab, in normal game you cant do anything more than befriend the queens, which mean you get antbassador as a mutation in NG+, which makes the black ant hill trivial, the black ants just ignore you and you run to the assistant manager, use your highest busting weapon and finish the fight in 30 sec

once those are done, then its big SCA;B on the bench ,again you have ziplines to there if you prepped enough, aint noone running to undershed each time.

-Run past the black widow in undershed to get to the lab if you want a fast completion.
MANT can be a bit tricky, but you have all your level 9 stuff so its kinda easy. dont hesitate to save beforehand and rerun it if needed.

Your javamatic defenses are last, which should carry over from NG to NG+1 so either reinforce them or just run it, and there you have it. Thats all you need to grow big again. if you wanted to chain to ng+2 you'd have to beat the bosses, which is another thing .

TBH, its a very easy to get achievement imo, since all your farm carries over, if you feel underleveled you might wanna run around and grab some random molars in ng+1 to get hp or stam.

Tips:
-I found many molars in the lower yard, enough to get max hpx2 and stamx2, if you're on mild the hunger and thirst drain is already so minimal you dont need that upgrade

-If you beat the IBM in normal then you have infinite bombs as a weapon, carry that cause youll need it at all times where the game usually requires bombs.

-You can never have enough gum/toenails

-You keep your keys for chests from ng to ng+ so just open chests when you have them available, no need to grab the keys.

-Handy gnat is available in ng+ (build mode, then G on pc, the option is at the bottom of the menu) , when you get a molar ping, get close and use it to scout forward. Some location are utter BS (see the subreddit). it will only scout molars in render distance from the player.

-Rerolling a ng+ trinket will roll its properties .

-If you start a mix.R (for example the red ant one), and farm infused ooze and science, then at the last moment you destroy the mix.R (meduim+ difficulty, doesn't work in mild) then it'll break and fail, you can then relaunch the defense after repairing and activate the event and farm ooze or science easily.

I don't know about NG+, but in normal game, MANT can easily be cheesed because, unlike other bosses, it's already there before you enter the arena. In my first run, I 100% cheesed him with ranged, explosives and mint staff through the hole in the ceiling before even entering the room.

its been fixed long time ago. You cant damage the Mant through the hole anymore. :steamsad:
