Missing molar ='(

So i have 119 molars, meaning i miss 4 molars, i know where 3 of them are (2 regular, 1 mega), and i'll have to check again for the last one i'm missing rn (a regular one), but the problem is: i need 4 regular and 1 mega for the upgrades, so i actually miss 5 molars, but i'll have collected them all in 4 molars, anyone knows what's going on ?...

After some checking, i found the one i missed, so i'm still left with 120/123 and need 4 molars total...
Any chance one of the molar on the map is actually not collected but still on the map or is it a bug and my save is doomed to have 1 missing molar upgrade for ever ?...

If i remember correctly, the game has 1 extra normal molar if you max everything.

And I faintly recall 1 molar not being tracked - dont quote me on this though.

Already did something similar, i used screenshots of one of my previous saves, the problem is not on the map tho, if i collect the last 3, i'll just have 123 molars on the map but 122 total, i suppose, or one of them didn't count due to a bug i don't know, or maybe one of them is on the map but i didn't collect it, i don't know but that's still weird...

can you post 4 screens from each site of the map? maybe the community can find the missing one. i got all 123 some days ago to. couldnt be a bug.

even if i post a screen of the map, you won't find the problem, the map will show you the 123 molars, tho i have 122 apparently, that's the problem...

I had same problem, and compared my map with mapgenie, and finally found the missing one in the pond. COunt and compare by zone.

You do realize the in-game map ONLY shows the Milk Molars you have COLLECTED, right?

Zoom into your in-game map (some overlap unless you're zoomed in), and count 'em.
There should be 119 (or 122 - which is it?) (i.e. the ones you have already collected).

If the in-game map shows more than you have collected, your game save is bugged.
At that point, there is nothing we can do and you'll have to contact Obsidian for resolution...

That's a bunch of Molars to count, I would recommend you carefully count them again.

i've already done that, that's why i think it's bugged, i'll still check all the molars location, but i know it's gonna take some time, so i hope it's really just one i missed and really not the bug ='(

While i'm searching through all the molars, i noticed there's one not appearing on the map (the sandbox chest one), i checked a 100% gamefile, and even on this other save, it doesn't appear there either, so that means the map definitely have a display bug for the molars, can anyone tell me if they can see it on their map ?

After the 1.3 Update,
The Melted Moat (Sandbox) Chest Milk Molar was supposedly relocated "elsewhere"...

In my post-1.3 play-through map, though, I can confirm
there is no Milk Molar icon shown in the Melted Moat chest location.

I can't recall if I actually did pick up a Milk Molar there; and I do have all of them myself.

Well, my current save was created after the 1.4 update, and the chest is still there, but maybe the icon got relocated, i don't know, i guess i'll create a creative save later and just get this one, to see where the icon appears, but if the icon doesn't show up, it's gonna be even weirder ._.
One dumb thing to note is that the molar's "order" on the map seems random, so we can't even compare like "hey, do you have the #19 ?" cause we have different molar #19 each, and it's not even the "picked up order" just a random one...

Well, fun fact, i created a save and went there straight away (the sandbox chest), i checked, molars are spawning (got one in the haze to be sure), but weirdly enough, when you start a new game, the molar inside this chest is nowhere to be found, maybe it spawns later on, i don't know, but that means i can't really check it's map location ='(

check in the black anthill.

in a hugh undergroundcave you can look up and there is a root. you need to do some parkour to get to that molar.

i guess that is the molar you need. litterally the molar that everyone can miss if you dont watch up and you ask yourself why you dont find him.

had the same problem and the sandbox with 1 until i looked up in that cave.

already have this one ;)

Found the missing one, apparently it appears on the map when you break the molar, not when you take the orb, and for some reason i broke it and didn't take it, dunno why lol, so now it's all good (had to be one of the last i checked, ofc) =D
