Xbox Network Login Fail

Starting new update on 1.4, I am unable to host/join multiplayer lobby with my friends.

The Xbox login was prompted, logged in and then still 'Xbox Login Required' popped out even though I have logging in many times. My Xbox username is displayed on top right. However, the button F1 on the bottom right still stated as 'Xbox Network Login' instead of 'Log Out'.

Tried Windows Credential Method, Antivirus Exclusion and Reinstall. I am still stuck on the same thing. If anyone encountered this issue and managed to solve it. Mind to share with me the solutions ?

i just deleted the 28 duplicate credentials entries and it worked fine again.

all entries that start with XBL.

Common issue. Some people have luck with the above method, most don't. Maybe the dev will fix it next patch... If you quit and restart the game a few times, it seems to work but it's a roll of the dice. Pretty annoying.

Control Panel > Credential Manager > Windows Credentials > *under the Generic Credentials > Remove all XBL and any that associate with Grounded.

Sometimes ok sometimes doesn't work. Let me know if this works on you.

Yup. Last night I tried 26th times and successfully logged in with F1 button stated as 'Log Out'. Tried to play this morning but sadly the issue revert back as it is.

Yup. Just like I already mentioned. Unfortunately, your faith same as me. None can work. Just have to wait for the new update then.

Just going to have to quit the game, start it back up, see if it lets you log in, repeat these steps until it lets you in. You have to close the game and open it back up again if it gets in the login loop. Some times it takes a dozen or 2 tries before it'll start working again. Pretty lame.

Maybe (just maybe) if the entire class would report this, maybe they'll fixed it Soon(tm).

Submitted (I even refrained from the profanity that my fingers desperately wanted to lace it with). Installed a skip intro mod and have been trying to brute force my way into my MP game all afternoon. Think we are on attempt 100 or so.

Edit: This has been a known and ongoing issues for 4+ years now though so I'm not convinced anything will come of it. Wish it'd have been a noticeable issue before I was out of my refund period.

If you were asking me. No one likes to have secondary login. If you are reading the latest issue coming from Helldivers 2 which requires players to log in with PSN account. Nobody likes it. Data breach, problematic, missing friends from list, missing progress etc.. 😂

You meant reset or reinstall windows ? Two different things here. Reset remove all files associate to the disk. While reinstall it is just the windows.
