Does Assasin Mutation Stack with Mantis Armor in current patch?

Just looking for confirmation, yes or no :)
Theory crafting a crit build
Deciding if a full mantis set is worth it, or mix and match the set to add other perks ect
Really depends on if the armor and mutation stacks.

I think the bleeding are separate so you can stack.

Tho for your crit build you should go with the full set. The set bonus help a lot to chain the crits.

After a crit, you gain higher crit chance for some second, and refresh the duration everytime you crit again.

going a crit build myself and it certainly does stack, i would also recommend coup de grass(for more crit chance) and trapper peeper(for more crit damage) along with a mighty scythe of blossoms and sleek mantis armor, im in new game plus with my bf and our friend and im the damage dealer and anything other then bosses goes down very quickly


that being said some info before you get into it, the assassin and mantis bleed does stack, but they work differently(mostly just assassin lasts longer and deals damage in 5 second intervals while assassins bleed only lasts not as long but damages every second) also the mantis bleed doesnt add per piece but the chance does(so with two pieces a crit gurrentees a bleed prock) but that doesnt mean the 3rd piece is useless, thats where the sleek effect and the set bonus come in, the sleek effect makes it so crits do alot more stun damage and the sleek effect makes it so when you score a crit for the next 10 seconds you have a higher chance to score another crit(2.5%) for reference coup de grass is 2%/5% at tier 1 and tier 5 respectfully

Don't have trapper peeper, but can add it to my to do list

Mantis trinket
Mutations, Assasin, Apex Predator, Coup de Grass, Buff Lungs, and for twist, Sour sensation since I'm solo and I'm going get hit anyway, so why not deflect some back haha.

I'm theory crafting this build before I go out and farm it
Might think of a bow build next, since mantis is endgame, and my new/alt character will need something to get there and face the mantis.

as much as the mantis trink is great, its also a 1/100 drop chance or a 1/28 steal chance, id rather just use thors pendant, along with its other great things it also gives 1% crit chance and 10% crit damage, also trapper peeper is off of golden cards, those have a 1/100 drop chance from normal bugs when you kill them, tho there are exceptions like the crow and koi fish, along with some bosses, but yeah its not really something you can farm in a timely manner, we just got lucky enough so i was able to use it haha, tho its still at lvl 1 for goodness sakes

Don't forget to build the stuffed mantis for massively increase your drop luck to get the trinket. Also stuffed head for extra damage. Build in front of the arena.

Ive been running the following :
Broodmother helmet sleek for poison and venom DOT
fire ant pauldron sleek for the acid damage and armor reduction
Mantis leggings sleek for the crit bleed
Mighty scythe for the crit %age increase
Trinket wise i'm using a ng+ cone with crit chance and dmg up, but id use mantis trinket or thors if i didnt drop it

Assassin, coup de grass, trapper peepr, parry master, apex predator, then whatever is contextual like mithranditism, guard dog.

You apply poison, venom, and bleed, you accelerate attacks due to apex predator, and if a crit hits you reapply bleed thanks to the leggings.

It's nice, would reccomend :)
