As for the updates i've heard, that the leading dev said, that they want to add things, as long as they're allowed to, so i wouldn't be surprised, if we get more content, after all we've still at least the veranda which seems quite out of place with its emptyness. and i wouldn't be surprised, if the shed and something regarding the house might get added over time. But obviously that's just me hoping to get these things more than anything else^^
Hopefully the Switch can handle at least minimum settings.
Indeed, the house porch is a very empty area that could possibly be filled later.
I'm skeptical about the shed, because according to the wiki it's been scrapped for good and some of its original assets have been recycled for the brawny boy bin, like the wasp nest.
Still, this shows that unused assets could appear later in a different form than originally planned.
The chance to be on another platform is grim.
Edit: I saw the annoucement JUST AFTER I posted this message lol, nvm.
I wouldn't call it "grim" anymore, if it already got a release date^^
Yes, pretty sure it'll have more contents, but I don't expect massive update tbh.
"Grounded – also from Obsidian Entertainment – a co-op survival adventure phenomenon that has welcomed 20 million players into the backyard, will be coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on April 16. Cross play will be supported across Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC. "
If you think about it, the shed interior would be more demanding than the rest of the map in terms of video memory, because unlike open areas and caves, everything in the background would still be relatively close. The game would be forced to render all the interior at once at anytime.
But if I'm right, more caves, labs, and limited areas such as the brawny boy bin are still possible. Even the house porch would be a possibility.
I hope... the SHED is MY DREAM ! Just imagine going inside and look up to see how far is the ceiling etc... insane ! <3
