Other than that I've found widow armour pretty useful for the massive regen on kill.
Later NG+ will stop the three hit kill on adds though so good luck after that
I used gas arrows on the adds for the three tics. Worked great and they don’t do enough self damage that it matters. That being said, as you mentioned, they eventually lose this weakness and I think the game will definitely be impossible at that point.
Ya that's the problem. In whoa difficulty, they start out dying in 3 ticks, but throughout the fight they start taking 5, then 7, then 10, then 15. When she's at 25%, some of them take 15 hits to bring down. Me and my buddy were using super gas arrows throughout the entire fight and they are useless that far into the fight. I am genuinely not sure if she is even beatable on whoa difficulty in NG+ 1. This is why I'm asking. We are at a total loss as to what Obsidian expects people to do on this fight.
The hits for adds scale up as the fight goes on? Wow, first I'd heard that. That sounds unbeatable already. Only thing I knew was far enough into the new game+ cycle they stopped insta dying all together and were like any normal wasp or drone in the yard.
