How do you beat the mantis on NG+1
Does anybody know a strat or build to help beat the mantis?

Wear a dmg resist trinket, upgrade your weapon, drink all buffs,eat black ox food and put game on mild. I can kill the other boss's no issue on medium but for the Mantis to solo seems like it needs to be on mild.
Oh yeah also save before the fight, if you get the sour proc on the enemy reload. Sour proc is broken and needs a nerf.

Also, depending on how "Beefy" (hee hee) your rig might be, it also can't hurt to:
* Lower the Resolution to 1K (1024x768)
* Decrease Video Quality to High (or lower - the Mantis will be the blob trying to KILL you)

This will help with the unusual lag in this fight (probably due to all the particle effects).
BTW: Less video lag means easier (a little to a LOT) block timing.

No, some people can easily kill it on Whoa! or even all the way up to NG+10...
YMMV :puncho:

Things to try:
* Review the Boss Data Card for damage weaknesses (exploit those - mercilessly)
* Use a different Armor Set, or mix/match different pieces for added DPS effects
* Use a different mix of Mutations; there is no one setup for every Boss Fight
* Use different types of Smoothies to get added Buffs (they stack)
* Always use Beefy Healing Smoothies (for added heals)
* Always use Sticky Smoothies for your Buffed Effects (so they last longer)

and, most importantly...
* Git Moar Gudder :welpface:

Acid Staff, Whittle Wizard Mutation, Hyperstamina Buffs - dodge around the tree and peek shoot from a 180* defence point
