Yes, if you are in NG+1 and:
* You want to get all the NG+ achievements (there are two new ones)
Note: You should already have one if you have entered NG+1.
* You want to get to NG+2 (and higher)
Yes, if you are in NG+1 and:
* You want to get to NG+2 (and higher)
Fun Fact:
You need to make it to (at least) NG+4 to get all the new craft-ables (if you do it just right).
It'll take longer if you don't "do it just right".

If you haven't yet entered NG+1 (i.e. still in the base game),
then you have to do everything on the TV screens just to enter the area were NG+ starts.
The number increases by one each time you go through the ReMix.R.
You can view your NG Number by looking at your SCA.B (OS screen IIRC).
