Leave it in a review for the game. We need to start hitting devs and studios for this kind of nonsense. We understand early access. we understand work in progress. What is not acceptable however is the release of a fundamentally broken bit of software on release.

Mine worked fine the first time. But after I tried to exit to the main menu and it crashed I'm having this same issue

How To Fix - Solution! I had the same problem. When I turned on the steam in OFFILINE MODE, the game started and it did not get stuck on the loading screen any more. This is not a forever solution, but it will allow you to play before the developers fix it.

disabled anti virus, disabled windows firewall, disabled steam, STILL NOT WORKING.

put the grounded folder on ant-virus exceptions list and logged in right away afterwards, have AVG btw.

okay so. me and my friends were having the same issue for about an hour and here is how to solve it. dont listen to the people that are telling you to make a new account its bs. you need too (if you have one)turn off your anti-virus.. i know it sounds weird but trust me it will fix the issue. me and my friend have the same anti virus and it was preventing us, for whatever reason. from making it past the main *log in* screen. trust me it will resolve your problem. if not. i dont know how to help. but good luck man :)

I put folder of the game in whitelist,open connection in firewall and even tried to disable it,but issue still remain. My conclusion to this - its most likely have some issue with UAC,but there is no way i will disable it. Still its have same even if i run it directly from exe as administrator.
Who buy games to dance around it just because devs can't do their work normally.

since 2015 I use Windows 10 and never needed an Antivirus Programm, Defender is the only Thing you need on Windows 10.
