How do you complete BURGL chip missions if you already turned in the chip?

I found the pond chip a couple days ago, but now BURGL assigned a quest to find the "Sunken Treasure" chip, which I googled and it seems to be the same as the fishbowl quest chip (which I never got a quest for like I did with the jungle temple, grave robber, and cold blood chips). Is this a bug, or is there some way to complete the quest after you've already done it once (like the crafting quests)?

I'm not sure if I'm missing something obvious here, or if I might have an issue. My completed quests from the Koi pond did reset after an update yesterday, but the chip did not reappear and Burgl still has the upgrades from when I found the chip a couple days ago.

I know I can just drop the quest, but don't want to miss out on the raw science. I've been playing for less than a week so restarting wouldn't be too terrible... just don't want to start over unless there's a legitimate reason to do so.

I did have a quest for the fish bowl chip so I don’t believe they are the same thing, especially with the new recipes that were added and all the new areas in the pond to explore there is plenty of places to find a new chip.

Fish Bowl chip and Sunken Treasure chip are NOT the same thing; you might want to go look around the sunken T-Rex for something that looks different.

As far as I can tell, ALL of the upgraded items come from BURGL chips, Sunken Treasure unlocks the +fin flops and the +Slime Lantern

Lots of stuff suddenly changed, and I found new landmarks that I'd never triggered despite being in the are extensively only a few days before. There's a treasure chest (which I haven't opened) and a pot and a few other things. I haven't seen alternative versions of fin flops or slime lantern but they would have been nice when I had to redo that whole area all over again. I did try googling it a bunch before I posted, but everything that lists the chips says I have all of them.

Considering how new this update is it wouldn't surprise if Google actually doesn't have all the answers yet.

Actually, way more than just him have the info now about the key. I saw probably 6 vids before I stopped checking on YouTube and that was just a quick skim after looking for Grounded Pond Treasure Chest.

I did find the key, although I spent a long time in that cave looking for a way back into the lab after it reset and never saw it at the time, just some raw science. I can confirm that it is indeed a different chip, but now I'm wondering why I never got a quest for the first pond chip...

Because what quests you get are random. Even with a new chip available he may not necessarily give the quest for it on the day the game is updated. It could take time depending on luck.
