milk molar minimap is bugged.
I bought the update for milk molar scanner, and now the minimap shows them, even after I collect them. I collected more than a half of them already, but the map still shows me 67 of them. Is there some way to fix it?

UPD: it seems the minimap just froze. not only it doesn't remove the molars that were collected, it also doesn't show the new molars that I discover.

You can toggle off Milk Molar Visibility on the actual map- when you open the map there is a button to click, and even a key prompt for ease of access

- and then the sensor should only activate on uncollected Milk Molars

Hope this helps

sensor already only activates on non-collected ones. It's just that I don't want to go through all the 67 that the map shows me only to make sure that I collected most of them.

Oh- yeah, they need a -COMPLETED/COLLECTED status for these things- I'm having the same issue with the MIX.R's
- that's just a flaw my dude

I thought the map only showed molars that you'd already collected?

Yes the map always shows you the data you collected if its a milk molar or SCA.B, buying the scanner for any of them doesn't change that.

The scanner upgrade only shows you a ping on uncollected data.

you can't see uncollected molars on you map.

What is the point to clutter the minimap with the things that are already collected? That makes this feature useless and misleading.

It's actually VERY helpful to compare your map with the map of all of them to see WHICH one you're missing. this will save a lot of people a lot of frustration

So, basically, a feature for easier cheating, got it.

more like easier completionism and a memory aid. looking up the last remaining collectibles is not effin cheating.

No but it would help completionism if it just showed the remaining ones instead of having to pixel hunt the through 100+ locations. Showing collected ones on map is 100% a useless feature

That's not because YOU think it's useless, that it's useless tho, that's not how the world works...

That drives me crazy as well. I'm missing around a dozen or so and my options are to either run around every square inch of the yard waiting for the SCAB thing to ping for a milk molar (then figure out if it is above or below me, etc) or go through a youtube vid for every single location...I'm not wanting to do either option.

mapgenie is what i use. it shows everything in the yard close enough i can find it myself after. even has screenshots for most of the molars. when im collectable hunting ill use the in game map to compare against mapgenie. the addition of the found molars to the map has been a major time saver for me. before i had to either track them in paint, or by memory.

You can just toggle it off if it bothers you. But there's plenty of valid reasons to have a memory of what's been collected, especially in consideration of multiplayer.

There will be times where you might pass a molar that is difficult to get to and just make a mental note to go back later. Sometimes you just forget if you got that one or not. It's nice for you or other people to see that it's not worth the trip to find out.
