Dr. Tully, PhD
Partial Head Dehydration?

No doubt, Tully IS clever and gifted, but also suffers from being something of an idiot too.

His plan for The Mant... sounds good, very sci-fi trope-ish and with all the expected outcomes too.

I just have to scratch my head a bit though. He built BURG.L, so why did he never think to attach his... let's say "Final Form" to a BURG.L body? Or perhaps a similar, but more useful design?

Perhaps we'll see something like this come "Grounded Again", or whatever they opt to call a sequel, as this is definitely Sequel Worthy. In fact, this is more sequel-worthy than Madden, FIFA or Call of Doody.

"I could devour a billy hog right about now" that rasin says that about everytime I am in a big boss battle, it can get a bit annoying.

Despite Tully being annoying and having annoying lines he does play a pretty big part in the story, he seems to be the hero of everything.

Good question though, he should've done something better rather than just putting himself into a floating orb.

There also really needs to be a sequel, Grounded is a perfect game in every shape and form and it would be an amazing addition to have a sequel I would 100% buy that, if they ever do one..

Every single time I hear those words, my brain screams, "You better stay away from Billy's Hog, or Ominent will be the least of your worries."

But then, I do have a dark and twisted sense of humor.

I do disagree, however - the floating orb is the ideal place to be. Now why he picked the giant bouncy electro-beach-ball-gun.... just one of the rotating lasers ala Straw Boss, or that electric discharge. Even a potato cannon would be more useful than that whatever it's supposed to be.

But attaching that orb to something... like a robot body... even, and I hate myself for saying this but....

Ali and Willow, form feet and legs.
Max and Pete, Form arms and Torso
And I'm already the Head.

Go Team Microtron!

+1 to everyone who gets the reference.

[redacted]! If that just doesn't reek of some saturday morning kids cartoon show that could very well have been playing on the TV inside the empty house.... I do 100% agree, Ground needs a sequel... "Grounded Again"? or "Still Grounded"? Some clever play-on-words suggesting continued punishment for indiscretions.

And don't get me wrong, I do love Wendell Tully... he's got just the right mix of absent-minded genius, sprinkled with ADD, and a side of OCD that I would have nearly an impossible time thinking of anyone other than Christopher Lloyd to play him.

On that subject, I could also see Jeff Goldblum as Director Schmetor as well, but I digress...

It's just that I can't see at least any one of the kids saying "Dr. Tully, why not build a cool robot body to attach to?" followed by a good 3 minute, and I'd even welcome a cut-scene, of him talking to himself in that Tully manner, before tasking the kids with gathering the materials, building certain workstations, even reconstructing completed Mix.R's and Supers to reuse to forge a power-cell - adding a nice chunk of new game-play, before meeting with a boss Robo-Tully or even Microtron are required to actually combat.

Read that as: Two "giants" (action-figure sized, we have models and parts thereof, scattered throughout the yard to give a sense of scale), engage in battle with each other, pounding each other with blows, beams and blasts that would simple be lethal to anyone or anything else, (For more fun, add an occasional idle dialog: "That thing is so cool. When do I get to drive?", prompts the kid. "When you raisin.", replies Tully, if the player had previously selected the dialog option equating 'rasining' with 'old age', else a Tully ramble about what they would need to safely remove your head, prepare a pod, and end with "but we really should talk to your parents first." instead.
