The new custom modes they just put in are sandbox to the extreme, if you're into that too.
There is also a literal sandbox in the game.

Same. Pretty huge fail on the promotion there. As it is I've had enough time to see enough of the game to not particularly interest me without being able to get far enough to determine if it gets more interesting later, so now I'm less likely to buy it than I was before. Good work!
Any similar games like this? Not too hard and with a story
Subnautica is the closest I can think of, but there isn't really combat, so not quite the same. Great story though. (I have 1,100 hours in Grounded, and 452 in Subnautica.)
Till now from the lookings, I found grounded has more fun than Subnautica
