Other than that you can make a few red ant clubs, which you can throw towards the enemies, which is very effective even if the electric fields limit your movement.
As for the laser, you can hide behind the electric pillars, as long as they're not activated, while for the electricity it is best to stand at the middle of any wall (you might also be able to stand next to the laser pillar, but obviously if it gets activated, then it gets way harder)
If you need more tips, then it might be good to tell, what you've the most problems with
Healing item works best for tanking a bit especially at 25% health boss, just tank the damage and keep hitting until the last blow. I think I was using the wafers and I had roasted aphid in one slot, these help adding a chunk of hp, but I wasn't prepared when I went in, maybe healbasa would help more with it.
When avoiding laser I prefer to stay in middle it's easier to run away from and see where the attack is coming from.
You can also ignore the minions and run away from them. Only hit them when you're cornered by them.
It's that easy, even on whoa!
Did it many times until the game got glitched.
i am using a t2 upgrade 4 javelein (bone trident) and a black ant shield.
i am using black ant armor and also have a sus ice cap. any more ideas?
If you're comfortable farming them antlions in the sandbox give the earliest easily accessible T3 armor and the antlion greatsword is a god tier weapon all the way to end game. If you don't want to go that route ladybug armor is very good for that point in the game. I stuck with ladybug, ant club, and crow crossbow for Whoa and did just fine.
The problem isn't so much the levels, but more that you're using a bone trident to begin with. With that you've a -50 % damage debuff, since robots are resistant to stabbing damage. Rather use busting weapons like the insect hammer to get some extra damage. Alternatively slashing weapons like a spider fang dagger can also work (the boss has also slashing resistance, but only -25 %, making it more effective than stabbing, if you don't feel comfortable with the slow hammer)
Also under some of the burried antlions you've quite a big reservoire of salt, which you can craft into salt arrows for when you want to attack from a distance.
