Did they forget to add MUSHROOM FLOOR/FOUNDATION ?

I'm building my base at oak tree top anchoring at the highest mushroom. I plan to use mushroom bricks coz it's ez materials but there is no mushroom floor, did they forget to add mushroom floor/foundation or is it intended.

I hate using stem floor coz it has gaps, so I use clover roof as my floor. Will bees or flying bugs attack floor ? What are they attacking first when raiding my base ? If I have several smaller bases around the map, will they raid those smaller bases too ? I usually make sure to build on top of something so ground bugs cannot attack.

Can bees reach the highest mushroom anchor point growing on the oak tree ? I saw a youtube video showing that the oak tree top has a beehive, dunno if it's just decoration or functioning beehive with spawns.
