Did They Change Crit Rate?
I played until right before the game released officially. Before then I could consistently crit with a Stinger Spear, Black Ant Legs, and Coup De Grass lv 1 or 2. By consistent I mean every fight I get into I could crit like at least 3 or up to 5 times. But now even with the same set I dropped to 1 or 2, and sometimes not a single crit at all. I missed a lot of updates so I was wondering if someone could help please.

From the Wiki (Not sure what it was before)
Coup de Grass: Increases critical hit chance. (2.5%/5%) Larvagna and Spider Slider: Increases critical hit chance by 5%. Stinger Spear: While equipped, increases critical hit chance by 1%.

Crit after block from Black Ant Armor is 50% chance to gain 1% crit chance

It's most likely the same as before, but I can't shake this feeling that it definitely feels different from the last time I used crit. Guess I'm just unlucky rn with crits lol

Coup de grass used to be bigger, I think 15%, but it was very strong in multiplayer as you can easily stun-lock bugs and bosses.

I had a feeling it could have been higher. I faintly remember the old wiki but wasn't too sure. I get why it was changed though, even in solo it could still stun-lock fairly well. It's sad how much it's nerfed, but it's not unusable even now.

Yeah it's 5% now, someone above posted what it says on the wiki. Before the update/nerf that mutation gave me a great boost to be able to kill things that were resistant to stabbing. 25% was pretty high for how easy it is to get the mutation, but gutting it to only 5% was a coup de grace to the mutation. Not unuseable but a real damper on dps.

Facts, it should be atleast 10%, sometimes it feels like it never pops.

For real, it does feel like that. 10% is fair, but when you have 3 other players and they all run it, that's when the issues arise. They could always just nerf it so the more people on the lower the chance gets so they can't stun-lock as much.

That's exactly what they should have done.
