No flames at the oak tree

I have a little problem with my graphics I think. I don't have flames at the oak tree fire. I only see some glowing spots at the roots and on the ground, but no flames at all. I'm in a multiplayer game with my wife, and she sees a raging fire on her screen, but there's nothing on mine.

We have the same options activated/deactivated in the ingame graphic settings. The big difference is that I have an AMD graphic card, she has an Nvidia. My card is a AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, not that old, and I have 32GB RAM.

Any ideas what could be responsible for the flame visibility, or lack thereof?
