Thank you, pets are useless now
The pet inventory is not available unless they are close to you now. Even the gnat can't keep up with the character moving around the map and gets stuck everywhere.

I agree, they are useless now. They cannot even climb up to upper yard nor picnic table. One of the worse things they have done with this update.

I haven't been able to tame a pet since October, they are completely bugged.
