Can red ants chew through clay foundation?
I currently have my base on a rock they cant get up on but would like some FOB's they also cant get into.

Eventually, yes. I know I have had them wreck a few clay foundations during raids in my game. Haven't yet had the same problem with the pebblet ones, but i also redesigned my base a bit when i upgraded which has meant the stone foundations also weren't sticking out as far from my base and weren't actively the targetted structures of those raids either. So im not sure if the pebblet foundations can also be wrecked by them (i would assume so, i know the soldiers at least can take down some tier 2 things like husky weeds) or if i just got better about protecting my stuff.

Given enough time and inclination, any bug is able to destroy any craftable structure. Different materials have different amounts of HP (or durability I guess?), and using your example of foundations a pebble one has noticeably more HP than the regular clay one. Different types of bugs will also do different amounts of damage to structures per hit, Solider ants hitting harder than workers for example.

That said outside of bug raids and the occasional Mix.R fight, bugs don't really attack your structures randomly. There's always a reason, usually trying to get to a food source like your Campfire or food basket. Sometimes structures can get hit in the crossfire if you're fighting something big at home, say a wolf spider, but they'll generally de-aggro rather than attack your base to get at you. In any such case, damage happens infrequently enough that the only reason a structure breaks from damage is through neglect on your part. Build a repair tool and top everything up once a week or so, you'll be fine.
