No way to know. Since not all games have a story mode or ending especially survival. So if you thought that was supposed to be an answer you failed horribly. Young buck.

I mean:

Ark No story/End game
Minecraft No story/Endgame
Rust No story/Endgame
Zomboid No story/Endgame
Valheim Technically can be "beat"
The Forest Story and Endgame
No Man's Sky No story/Endgame
Conan Exiles No story/Endgame

Survival Genre is not heavy on story elements. Hence why I asked.

Almost all those games have endings but can still be played after.... Rust is a pvp game and is irrelevant to the rest. Minecraft is a sandbox with no story. which is again, irrelevant. Ark, Valheim, The forest, No man's sky, and Conan all have stories that have an end....never played zomboid so i wouldn't know.

If they mean project zomboid, it might be the most accurate example but it does still have a story. Basic story for that one is you are a survivor AS a zombie apocalypse starts in your local area, so you will start with modern infrastructure like plumbing and electricity but that will fail over time. After that point it's literally just "This is how you died..." (legitimately, that is the header as it drops you into the game). Not a really in-depth story there, mostly just the "this explains our survival world" setup. No real end-game that i know of. Otherwise yeah, most the examples do have stories and end-games, though maybe not the most compelling (as much as I love The Forest, you can beat that knowing nothing more than "must. find. kid" so, also not incredibly deep).

Although to answer the OP's original question, yes. there is indeed a story and end-game in Grounded. There are even progressional and daily quests to help you continue advancing and various bosses or mini-bosses (some of which are optional). There are also progression tiers, as in advancing tiers of tools, weapons, and armor as you get farther in the game that will also allow you access to new resources you weren't able to obtain at previous tiers. It is very structured for a survival game. It can also have a somewhat steep learning curve for some though, progression does not always come easily (well, you can customize your game pretty well, so technically it can). If you already play games with parry systems (and the ability to cheese via fortunate terrain), like Valheim that you mentioned previously, you will probably do fine though.

If you say so. Survival is survival and Minecraft has that mode. Your definition of end game and story must be insanely low. Lore sure. Story...the word means events that culminate in a evolution of something which is involved within the story.

Conan's PvP too the "story" survive the times. See "events" make a story not lorebooks or tidbits but events that involve the characters of the story as they evolve. Reading about a story doesn't itself make it a story.

The story is you are sent to the exiled lands and must find a way out. Removing the bracelet which you can do... The lore is part of that story to get to the end result...

So many inaccuracies.

Ark - Kill all bosses (end of game)
Minecraft - Kill Enderdragon (end of game)
Valheim - Kill all bosses (end of game)
NMS - Has a storyline to complete (end of game)
Conan Exiles - Has a storyline (it's in the lores, but still admittedly weak), remove bracelet (end of game)

Yes, you can play past these "end of game" points but that doesn't mean a built in end goal isn't present.

So if you thought that was supposed to be an answer you failed horribly. Young buck.

So much unnecessary blabbing when the answer was just "Yes, there is a storyline, whose completion currently ends the game".

correct.

You can complete the game but then continue playing after it, there is two endings to the game a good ending and a bad ending depending if you kill an optional boss or not, once you have completed the game you see either ending and then you get a report card saying how well you did, but you can then carry on playing endlessly if you wanted obviously you would have done everything so at that point it’s up to you if you wanna carry on playing for no real reason anymore or you can maybe start over and up the difficulty or just never play the geme again

Yes there is a completable story, I would say it is what mainly drives the progression of the game. The story is the main part of the game.
