Black Ant Eggs

Anyone else having trouble finding any black ant eggs? I have massacred the whole nest multiple times looking for some and never seen a single one.

I think it's just a cut content they forgot to remove from the log. I have all the map unlocked and searching for black ant eggs in resource analyzer doesn't show anything.

I have found black ant eggs in the ant hill before but only once.

I've yet to see a single black ant egg in my save. And also what made me chuckle was that there is a tunnel with a few black ants in the undershed area, which contains red ant eggs throughout.

I saw a single black ant egg last time I played (which was Friday, I've been sick with Covid since). A black ant was carrying it, so I killed him and took it.

I was actually shocked, because after completely clearing the black ant hill when I did the lab I never saw an egg, so I thought they just didn't have them (at that time). I wish I had not been shocked, because in hindsight, I wish I'd followed him to see where he was taking the egg and if there was more there.

That's another bug that was supposedly fixed ages ago in EA. Seems a lot of those are popping up again.

Calling it now: next patch dew drops and soda will stop spawning.

xD that's funny. And I mean that in the sense that it's not a bad bet to make.

I heard... black ant eggs only start appearing in a off the beat room in the black ant hill when they need to repopulate (by many of them being killed)

I did find where the Black ants have been keeping their collected food this last play session, and it's actually outside the anthill for some reason. The workers have been carrying it over to a small puddle on the eastern side of the trash heap and stacking it up. Seems like a pathing bug, and it could affect Egg spawning or transport as well.

I never saw black ant egg.

Undershed in the tunnel going down, I saw "only 2 BLACK ants worker" and many "RED ants eggs". I destroyed them all and will check later.

Later, RED ants eggs had respawned.

...weird, since Black Ant Eggs are listed as an ingredient for the, "Omelant", meal. Clearly seems an oversight somewhere along the line??! An ingredient you can never obtain?!? I've always wondered about this resource, since the sandbox opened up.

I saw 4 of them together inside a tunnel under the shed
