Scythe of Blossoms

I was using this weapon and got an upgrade to my assassins mutation, which is for daggers. But the Wiki lists this weapon as an axe (chopping). It can chop grass, so what exactly is this weapon? Do i use the chopper mutation or assassins.

I believe it uses the chop mutation. You can test it if you haven't maxed either of the mutations but I'm pretty sure it's an axe class weapon

I sadly have both maxed now. They both appear to not give it more damage which is weird... I just don't know why they would have swings count towards the assassin perk if it were axe.
