Spiders are suppose to the the big nasty for most of the game, and you wanna ride it like a horse ?
I can see it, playing Silent Hills you can tame and ride a Pyrimid head... and the new Halloween lets you make Jason your b...err ride.
The development time would be better spent on new enemies, better and more varied combat and more equipment and base building parts.
They give you buffs and most importantly allow you to instantly trade stacks of items with other players at any distance across the entire map. Hardly useless, lol...
The inventory function is useless because they tend to glitch out and disappear with your items.
Haven't had that happen in over 100 hours. Being able to use the pet as a movable chest that can exchange items between players anywhere across the map is a massive bonus.
Just a poorly thought idea that they didn't even give pet invincibility by default until they can actualy come up with a good solution if they so insist at keeping the pets as our only way out of this inventory management misery.
Is locking my pet behind walls the only meta for inventory space? Damn, how awesome that sounds.
I agree with the usable items taking up inv space as a design flaw. It could be argued for or against, though, as I see it. Inventory space is definitely an issue in the early game, but once I maxed the stack sizes with molars it no longer was an issue.
