Castle Moldorc, Skull & Crossbones

At the back of Castle Moldorc, there's a little alcove with a skull & crossbones in it. It says you need a bursting tool to harvest, but the Tier III hammer does nothing. Oddly, if you use the infinite damage cheat, the game crashes.

Just wondering if this used to be something.

I remembered that spot when I went there but didn't have any option at all on my screen to harvest it so I went back to it just now to check and I get nothing on my screen to harvest.

I've hit the top of the castle trying to hit the moth (where the glowing goo is), and it gives me that prompt. I've tried throwing bombs up there and hitting everything with hammers but to no avail. I have yet to try to build stairs to the top of it to see...
