trying to reach upper yard takes way to long

i have never played a survival game that still screws you even after reaching a bunch of lvls. the building should be easier but its the same as it was at lvl 1 and no im not bringing special armor just to build a stairway . Trying to reach upper yard is mental cant build because its 1 hour of daytime and 23 hours of night it seems. the building is horrible trying to make a stucture takes days to do and it shouldnt be that way still. that leaves the stupid parkour jumping on leaves and grass and thats even worse not its to aggravating. i need this stuff but they make it to hard to get even the lowest lvl stuff . i know you guys are all heroes of the game and prob beat it back when it was easy but thats not the case for me ive got over 30 hrs in and it sucks that they make things so hard to do it makes me not want to play anymore. i dont need advise i need to understand why is everything so hard to get? and yes ive played ark pvp conan pvp 7 days to die pvp the forest so i know survival games and this is just bad.

i have only lvl 2 gear i was trying to get a free weapon but getting there was way to hard now i know i shouldnt be there yet mabey now i can enjoy the game instead of freaking out

Building to get up there is easy, just use roofs and you don't need any special armor for it either. However you decided to try doing it sounds like you made it much more convoluted than it needed to be.

im confused your talking about getting to the upper yard area but then your also talking about the red ant hill which is in the lower yard, maybe try doing what the game tells you, which is complete the labs usually in the order of hedge, pond, haze, black ant hill, once you have done those, and also been in the red ant hill for a few eggs, you will be able to make the bombs to get to the upper yard, there is actually a stone you can blow up that gives you access to the upper yard or you can also just use clover roof pieces to build up there yourself thats usually the easiest way of building up.... but maybe you could take an ingame photo of where you actually are and what your trying to do as im still alittle confused of which part your struggling with here

I got to the porch of the main house just using pillars that can you jump up on. Clay is easy to get and stacks in your inventory as opposed to grass or stems that would a lot longer.

Pinch whacker is easy to get either via dandelion from the top or using something like clay to make a bridge to it from one of the stumps avoiding the orb weavers or bombadiers beetles.

Gotta love it when someone complains about something being too hard....but then calls it 'cheating' to use actual in-game mechanics which make it easier. LOL

You don't need to build anything to reach upper yard. Try harder.

If something is easy to get it is not worth getting it. I like grounded also because you have to work for your advance. Feels like you achieved something when you finally make a step forward.
And btw, you don't have to build anything to get to the upper yard, just explore and find the ascent where you can just jump up...
