Recycle Grass Planks in the Grinder?

According to the Wiki I should be able to recycle Grass Planks in the Grinder to produce 5 plant fiber, but this doesn't seem to be an option.

Works on mine, although I discovered this waaay too late. Carry grass planks up to it. Should be an option to produce 5 fiber or slurry... I forget which. However it saves a lot of time on the painful grind when producing rope.

Yeah it must be bugged. I was playing on a friend's save and nothing him or I did would register the grass planks in the grinder. Very frustrating.

I know you can grind more in the grinder, and do coarse rope more efficiently in a spinner, but I really don't need it. Chopping grass gets me so much plant fiber I don't see the point of either one. Do you really run low on that stuff?

Yo guys, I'm still not getting an option to reduce Grass Planks into fiber at a Grinder. What is going on?

Okay, this is important for people who don't know as it's not explicitly stated anywhere. In order to actually recycle a Grass Plank in a Grinder you need to unlock the recipe by analyzing the Grass Plank. No one in my party had actually noticed they weren't analyzed yet. And I just assumed something like that could be found by intuiting it.
