lawn mite gold card

I have committed genocide on the lawn mite population and my card is still silver/grey. What does it take to get gold on these dudes?!

It's just RNG when you loot them. AFAIK, the only gold cards that use another mechanic beside "RNG on looting" are the ones for mobs which are limited in number and don't respawn. Those you will automatically get the gold card when you kill the last one if you hadn't received it already.

I can confirm that the lawn mite gold car does work, as I have it. I have killed 254 total at this point, but I don't recall how many kills ago I got.

I also have had difficulty getting the lawn mite gold card. Currently sitting at over 550 lawn mite kills with no gold card.

I have over 600 spiderling kills and still no gold card...

it's %1 chance no matter the mob. Unless it's one of the boss fights you can refight then it's 10%. I got ladybug after 4 kills and fire ant after 250 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Though gold cards are pointless..... I am attempting to get all of them and I am absolutely dreading the mantis, broodmother, and blackwidows. :|

Have like 85-90% of them already so they are approaching :|

I feel like I got gold cards for killing each of those bosses the first time. So you shouldn't need multiple kills on these certain mobs and what not.

I got gold on the ones that dont respawn but the brood and mantis and the king all didnt drop gold the first time. King I got lucky on the 2nd time.

What should be done is an increasing chance of gold card based on number of kills so that if you have killed over a certain amount you eventually are guaranteed to get it.

its total RNG i got mine literally during the fix the strange machine quest
