I say "By what i've been able to gather" because it sounds like, in a few other discussions, that the Burrs are limited until you plug it and they can't respawn/Grow until then, but I'm not sure on that.
I know there are some in the upper yard you can get without plugging it, but it sounded like they don't respawn without plugging the canister.
The pro is, as the fella above mentioned, you can go in without gas mask. Plus the cracs in the ground will spawn good crafting materials like a lot of feather and dead insects.
I'm at the point where a regular wolf spider only takes 2 combos to kill, so I'm also okay with seeing an infected Wolf Spider (I'll probably run away though...haha).
There are no pros.

P.S. I ran into the Infected Wolf Spider while out gathering acorns the very next night after plugging it. That thing is no joke, but fortunately I had just crafted an Ant Lion Greatsword earlier in the day, and made it Spicy, so victory was mine.
Me too, that's why I hadn't plugged it sooner. Then I read here it just never comes up, and I'm going to have a tier 3 axe soon, so wanted burrs to start spawning. :)
The traps are weak, and I simply don't need the buildings made from them.
