What are your preferences for Milk Molar upgrades?
Hi there,

I know, that there is no "Best upgrading build" in this game and everything here is own preference. But nevertheless I'm interested, which upgrades do you see as your priority and which ones do you think are neglectable for a smooth game (medium difficulty in my case or maybe in whoa-difficulty)?

I went with Max Mutations first, until I had that maxed. Then I did stamina until it cost 3 to upgrade it more, then I raised Health and Healing, alternating between them both until it also cost 3 to upgrade those. Then I put a single point into Hunger/Thirst gain. Then I raised stamina Two more times for 3 points and then 4 points. That's where I"m at so far.

I'm going to do the alternating between health and healing for 3 and then 4 points next, then another single increase to hunger/thirst, then go back to finish up stamina, health and healing, in that order.

I prioritized Max mutations because those are just so awesome to have and so very useful, followed by stamina because it makes or breaks offense in battle, plus lets you sprint longer. So those are the two I considered as 'best', at least for my playstyle.

For the Mega Molars: I did consumeable stack size, then resource stack size, then continued back and forth between them. I didn't upgrade ammo stack size at all. You get them back when you use them and I've never needed more than the default stack size, as I generally only use the bow as an opening shot or two then switch to melee.

Maz mutations, then health, then stamina, then healing is how i went

for gold molars i did resource stack size and a little bit into food stack size, and only one into arrow because i dont' use the bow much

Max mutations and then I spread around max hp, max stma and healing as I wanted whenever I got enough molars.

Gold molars I play with another person so we did consumables and resources pretty evenly, we picked based on what we were going otu to do right then. Arrows we did put one point in for a slightly higher stack size.

I dumped into Mutations first, then an even spread. Gold molars I did some stack upgrades then dumped heavy into arrow stack size.

Milk Molars: Mutations, then health, Stam equally, followed by Health and Hunger/Thirst Drain.

Mega Milk Molars: Me and my friends start with Resources Stack size, then usually consumable, then Arrow stack, alternating between them and basically keeping them even the entire way. If Solo, Resource and Consumable first for sure.

I would say invest your first 6 molars into +hp and +stam the upgrades are very good for very low cost. 1-2 molars for a nice chunk of stam/hp is too juicy to pass up, esp since max mutations wont actually help early on since you probably wont have multiple good mutations unlocked anyway.
Gold molars i would say alternate between resource/consumable stack size, both are way stronger than more arrows imo.
As a rule though its best to remember that the deeper you go along any molar upgrade path you pay more molars for the same (if not lesser) improvement, so even if 1 option is obviously better when everything is lvl 1, when the good option is costing 4 molars and the "bad" option is just 1 molar, the cheaper upgrade is probably going to give you a bigger benefit.

I got 1 level of each first, then max mutations. after that I'll focus on HP and Stamina.

For the group buffs, I put priority on one consumabule, and then a bunch of the resources capacity. Arrows are low priority.

(Note: this is a solo playthrough for me.)

I went Max Mutations (duh) > Healing > Health.

I'm pretty good at managing stamina, so that will be the last thing I touch.

Hunger/Thirst drain rate feels equivalent to leveling up Food/Water in Ark:SE or Resistance in Dark Souls. Those points are just better spent elsewhere.

I've gotten pretty good at parrying, and I enjoy running a health regen build, so the healing rate was a no brainer.

Max mutations, healing, and then health/stamina kinda going back and forth between them. Playing on Whoa! difficulty.

I’m a big perfect blocking person. So the idea is to not get hit in the first place (hence why health isn’t higher on my list). Stamina I don’t find as noticeable a change as most of the time I can’t finish a combo anyway and have to stop to block. Healing was higher than stamina and health because if I did screw up I wanted my beefy smoothies to be the best they could be.
