Milk Molars

When playing with friends in a multiplayer match, Mega Milk Molars are shared through all players. However, regular Milk Molars are not. Not only are they not shared, when on is broken by one player in the game, other players can no longer see that Milk Molar to then grab themselves. I came across this issue recently while playing my first world save with my buddy. I was able to upgrade my health with one Milk Molar that I found and my friends health has not increased as well as he can't find that same Milk Molar.

My understanding is that when one person finds the milk molar everyone gets the points for it, but you have to spend them individually. So your friend just needs to go to the terminal and assign the points. He can assign it to something other than health if he wants. That's how they work.

Is that not happening in your game?

I have a friend like that. I love him, but I don't actually like playing games with him because it's like trying to play a game with a toddler sometimes.

I know....that's harsh.

Just checked this with a friend today to see if unlocks were shared and he had 20 molars despite not picking up any of them himself. So everybody gets them

Everyone gets the Milk molars , normal ones just need to be skilled by everyone themselfs aka it only affects them aka upgrades are NOT shared.

Gold Milk molars are a "server" wide buff which get chosen for everyone aka upgrades are shared.

So to the 3 of yall that commented, thanks for the help. Turns out my friend was just blind from the get go. And to anyone else that might see this somewhere down the line, in a multiplayer match, if one person grabs a milk molar, it counts towards everyones total. everyone would have one milk molar to upgrade whatever they want.

Now my question is, if I grab a milk molar offline does it still share to whoever joins? Or would I have accidentally cut off a friend from a molar?

Whenever a player joins your world, all MM's at that moment are shared, no matter when (or even IF) the player was in last time... Same with the Mega MM's you purchased so far.

I can assure you, any milk molars found by others, will be shared with you when you come online. There will be no notification, but when you check the terminal they will be there.

I went on a massive molar spree the first time I got my insect hammer and my coop partner had everything added once he joined later that day.
