Why is the Bee creature card under the "neutral" category?
They seem pretty aggressive to me.

Is "neutral" not pacifist, if you go near the honey they will atack you.

I have had them hostile to me when I got close to them no where even close to the honey. They seem pretty aggressive in my game.

I think they go agresive if you get too close to them, specially if in the ground. Would still count as neutral, they dont really come hunt you like a mosquito etc

they arent active threats, and only defend themselves, or when feeling threatened will attack. otherwise they dont have any desire to harm you.

If you find one at the picnic table, they're hostile since their nest is there. Everywhere else, you have to hit them for them to become aggressive

just like irl.
if the game would have wasps would it be the same aswell.
wasps arent agressive aswell unless you get too close to their nest or they feel threatened.

am surprised that you dont complain about the ants because they behave in the exact same way. expecially the soldier ants. they wont attack if you arent near the nest but oh boy want they to wack your butt if you get too close.

btw if you wear the full acorn armor set are you a major threat for everything and everything will attack you if you get too close to them.

Okay, it was at the picnic table. Just the far side from the honey, It actually knocked me off as I was trying to cross over from one bench to the other, on my way up to the table surface.
THat's the far side of the table from the honey pot, which is why I questioned the response above about being close to the honey.

So they are just hostile anywhere up there. They definitely do not behave like other "neutral" insects in that area.

Soldier ants are not in the "neutral" category, and they will attack you even away from the red anthill. Worker ants do not attack you even in the anthill unless you do something hostile. So I'd say the ants actually further the argument that the bees are classified incorrectly, considering they do NOT behave the same as worker ants, which are also "neutral".

If Wasps were in game they'd likely be VERY aggressive since unlike Bees they eat other insects among other things. And since we are tiny we probably would look like a weird tasty treat for them to come after.

i think bees are pretty well classified.
While not totally passive like red worker ants they are also in no way like mosquitos, having them in the neutral category lets players know that they dont have to be concerned if they see a bee buzzing around and this is correct 90% of the time.
The picnic table is the other 10% but thats you doing some home invasion shenanigans.
