No sound in cinematics

Anyone else having an issue where cinematics don't have any audio, but the rest of the game's sounds are fine?

Yea same issue, not sure how to fix it.
Kinda need sound in the cinematics so we can see the story lol

Same. Most of the time its the dialog cutting out. Something is definiately not right with the audio, at least on my PC.

I've only had this happen one time before in a game, and the issue was fixed by changing the games sound from 5.1 surround sound to stereo sound. But grounded doesn't have any audio options like that unfortunately.

It may just be taking the windows setting for the sound system and using that. Have you tried switching it in the windows sound properties before launching the game?

...I as well, get no audio during the 'dream' cutScenes. I get the CC'd text but no audio dialog....

Same for me, and one other person I saw posting this error under discussions instead of bug report. Figures we'd be up a creek. Does this game have a lot of cutscenes?

Not that many, and you can turn on subtitles.

I guess that's better than nothing, but I'm going to play something else for a while and hope someone finds a fix.
